Dior Homme Fall 2008

Although, I remain very anti post-Hedi Slimane Dior Homme, I must admit that I still love some of the label's basic, non-runway peices. It still smells of Hedi.
By the way, has anyone noticed how Kris Van Assche just takes one good idea based on Hedi's work and over-uses it to the point where the idea is meaningless and mass produced. The new "broken glass" detail, which is so obviously a remake of Hedi's sequin blood wound shirts, is being used on everything from crewneck and v-neck sweaters, to blazers, to wingtips. Its such an awful example of art being ruined by consumerism (as hypocrytical as that might sound).
